- oversee and manage therecruitment of clinicians and support staff within a given budget
- ensure all deadlines are met for contract related claims
- manage & negotiate supplier contracts e.g., mobile phones
Requirements
- experience in leading and running a busy fast paced department/ small business
- strong business skills – finance, technology, HR, planning & organising
- first class communication and problem-solving skills
- the ability to think strategically yet have an eye for the detail
- A strong delegator, able to bring the best out of the team they manage
- emotionally intelligent – can ‘feel’ when things are not right and have the skills to manage the energy of the team
- A passion leading, managing and motivating a team
Responsibility
- work with managers to ensure all clinical mail is managed so that GP administration is kept to a minimum
- manage all partner communication and the partner agreement
- support line managers to manage any grievances or manage any HR issues arising
- oversee and support all non-clinical staff performance and training matters
- do monthly HMRC & SPPA submissions
- assist with the recruitment and induction of new clinical staff
- work with practice co-ordinator to manage all clinical & non-clinical absence & annual leave
- develop and implement lines of communication between clinical and non-clinical staff
