understand and advise Registered Managers on updates and continuously seek to improve relevant company practice standards
assist with the strategic planning for developments within the home and all day to day management matters
attend all house meetings for each allocated house to gage and support team dynamics
mentor Registered Managers, and assist with supervisions and appraisals
attend Ofsted inspections and LA visits for allocated houses and support the Manager as necessary throughout the process
ensure Managers undertake recommendations of Ofsted Inspections Reports promptly
ensure that Managers/Deputy Managers notify Social Workers of all incidents and physical interventions within 24 hours
Requirements
you must hold the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care / Children and Young People
significant experience within leadership roles
at least 3 years work experience within Social Care Management
proven people management skills within a residential setting, including motivating, directing, delegating
proven organisational and financial management skills
experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
substantial recent experience of business partnership, relationship and facilitation management skills gained in a similar role
