Responsibility
- ensure that staff work in accordance with the Statement of Purpose and Function of each of the houses
- understand and advise Registered Managers on updates and continuously seek to improve relevant company practice standards
- assist with the strategic planning for developments within the home and all day to day management matters
- attend all house meetings for each allocated house to gage and support team dynamics
- mentor Registered Managers, and assist with supervisions and appraisals
- attend Ofsted inspections and LA visits for allocated houses and support the Manager as necessary throughout the process
- ensure Managers undertake recommendations of Ofsted Inspections Reports promptly
- ensure that Managers/Deputy Managers notify Social Workers of all incidents and physical interventions within 24 hours
Requirements
- you must hold the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care / Children and Young People
- significant experience within leadership roles
- at least 3 years work experience within Social Care Management
- proven people management skills within a residential setting, including motivating, directing, delegating
- proven organisational and financial management skills
- experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
- substantial recent experience of business partnership, relationship and facilitation management skills gained in a similar role
- senior Management: 1 year
