Responsibility

  • we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Claims Manager to join our dynamic team in Liverpool
  • pro-actively manage a case load of motor claims bringing claims to a swift and amicable conclusion
  • your expertise in handling complex claims, attention to detail, and leadership skills will be instrumental in achieving our goals
  • negotiate settlement of credit hire, repair and other uninsured losses in a timely fashion
  • review payment packs identifying areas of leakage, whilst liaising with management to improve processes and systems where appropriate
  • investigate and resolve liability disputes where applicable. Review, rebut and negotiate where rates evidence is received, maximising recoveries
  • ensure that matters are litigated correctly and in a timely manner ensuring the cost-effective measures are used to secure settlement
  • liaise with suppliers, customers and third-party insurers ensuring proactive management of claims

Requirements

  • proven experience in credit hire claims management, with a focus on prestige and electric vehicles
  • in-depth knowledge of the credit hire claims process and industry regulations in the UK
  • strong technical understanding of Credit Hire processes/procedures and best practice
  • strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of claims specialists
  • proven track record of negotiating Credit Hire claims from FNOL to recovery and monitoring own portfolio of claims
  • excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • excellent negotiation skills, capable of influencing the opinions of customers and fellow professionals through all communication channels
  • detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset
