Responsibility
monitoring the successful delivery of multiple projects, from scoping and initiation through delivery
working alongside the PMO teams to ensure that effective operational delivery processes are in place
ensure that the organisation has clear deliverables, assumptions and dependencies for each project
ensure learned experience and process improvements are shared and executed effectively to drive a culture of continuous Improvement
ensure effective mobilisation for all projects, including project kick off meeting, project Initiation document ensuring clarity across the business for how each project will be set up and managed
ensure that all areas of the business understand their role in the delivery of each project and have the information required to do so
reviewing delivery reports from our contractors to ensure deliverables are on track and any risks/issues are identified, escalated and addressed
ensure effective onboarding of the teams for new projects, including, briefing, inducting and set up on new projects, in particular the project leads
Requirements
3-5 years of relevant construction based experience required
experience of both waterfall methodologies and agile methodologies
experience of managing project budgets of £1m - £2m
experience of managing 3rd party suppliers, track record of delivering a number of small-medium sized projects
banking/financial services experience desirable, but not mandatory
experience of working in a large, complex and dynamic environment
good knowledge of project management frameworks and governance approaches in a relevant environment
