- to administer drugs in accordance with the Home’s Policy and Procedures and NMC Guidelines, recognizing the Royal Pharmaceutical Society
- pinetree Court are looking for the right candidate to join our team to work efficiently, conscientiously, safely, and to maintain high standard of care provision supporting clients in their daily living activities
- to be responsible for overseeing the clinical activity relating to the nursing of clients
- to oversee the clinical service and advise the manager regarding matters affecting the clients’ health & well being
- to maintain records relating to CQC, NMC and the other regulations
- to keep up to date on changes to client care

- to ensure clients, relatives or advocates are notified in the event of incidents, accidents, hospital or isolation

- CQC standards: working to CQC standards and regulations
- clinical care: delivering the highest standards of care, whilst maximising our residents’ overall wellbeing
- medical assessments: carrying out assessments, creating and implementing personal care plans
- medication: medication administration and logging
- to be aware of the wounds, protocol and treatment for clients ensuring consistency in the wound management and keep up to date regarding the latest research
- record keeping: updating our residents’ records and personal care plans
- instruction of all staff in safe systems of work, fire safety and evacuation procedures and induction of new staff
- attend all relevant staff meetings
- these duties are not exhaustive. Job holders may be asked to undertake other responsibilities, within their spheres of responsibility and competence
Requirements
- minimum 1st Level Registered Nurse
- evidence of Continual Professional Development
