Responsibility
- provide high-standard clinical care to surgical inpatients and outpatients
- support the Consultant team in operating theatres, ward rounds, and clinics
- participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and surgical audits
- ensure accurate documentation and adherence to clinical governance
- manage and prioritise acute cases under supervision as appropriate
- comply with all Trust policies and procedures, including safeguarding and infection control
- engage in teaching opportunities for junior staff or medical students, where appropriate
Requirements
- full GMC Registration with a license to practice in the UK
- minimum 3 years post-graduate experience, with relevant surgical exposure
- valid ALS certification
- general Surgery
- additional life support qualifications are desirable
- orthopaedic Surgery
- eligibility to work in the UK
- urology
