  • hold a Class 2 LGV Licence and capable of driving a skip lorry
  • must have an up-to-date Driver CPC
  • loading and unloading of skips of various sizes at a variety of different locations
  • professional approach to both the job and customer
  • complete daily vehicle check sheets and defect reports
  • manual handling is involved and a large part of the role is based outdoors

Responsibility

  • sorting of waste, segregation and sorting of recyclable materials
  • hand pick and sort individual materials from the floor
  • operating yard machinery
  • dismantling and depollution of end-of-life vehicles in a workshop environment
