- provide 24x7 rota based on-call support to customers as part of the field engineering team
- the role is largely customer site based across the UK and activities are varied
- be reactive to our internal service desk and assist them with supporting our customers both onsite and offsite
- be responsible for your site visit reports including quality, accuracy and timeliness
- A full clean driving license is a mandatory job requirement
- no specific times per day apply to any particular activity as these are all task-specific and most are reactive/intervention in nature
- working with the service desk manager, keep relevant technical and industry certifications up to date
- cisco CCNA would be considered advantageous for a candidate
- microsoft MCSE
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- candidate must have a valid passport and UK permitted driving license
- strong network troubleshooting and analytical skills
- A candidate should have at least two years’ experience
- candidate must pass local background and security checks
- working with Cisco switches and routers, in terms of configuring and troubleshooting
- strong customer facing skills
