- take and develop dental x-rays and other diagnostic images

- educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care measures
- administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials
- maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as necessary

- strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
