Earnings on positions in NICOLA'S GATEAUX
NICOLA'S GATEAUX is looking for employees for positions:
- prepare and bake a variety of bakery items, including cakes, traybakes, cheesecakes and cookies
- be available to work on a full time basis Monday - Friday 7am-4pm
- follow recipes and ensure that all baked goods are prepared to the highest quality standards
- possess knowledge of baking techniques
- decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner
- demonstrate a positive attitude toward co-workers
- monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure proper cooking
- maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies
- previous experience as a baker in a catering or restaurant setting is preferred
- knowledge of different baking techniques and methods
- familiarity with commercial baking equipment
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- excellent time management skills
