Responsibility
- ability to implement, manage and measure the core activities of the warehouse department
- responsible for all activities and administration of the warehouse team covering rosters preps, appraisals, training, disciplinaries, risk assessments, H&S and Fire procedures
- conduct daily briefings and have clear communication with the team to ensure all staff are aware of their responsibilities and team goals daily

- coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of the freight as per the standards set by the NG Terminal Ltd Management in conjunction with HMRC Compliance and ETSF bond procedures
- use warehouse space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met at all times and his team is trained to do the same
- ensuring all staff handle, label and manage all movements of freight within the warehouse in a safe and correct manner
- identifying opportunities within the department to reduce costs and add value to the operation
- have a clear understanding of the NGT Company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these and ensure the warehouse team deliver the highest performance based on these policies and values
- be responsible for the Risk Assessments of the warehouse, train his team and keep those up -to -date
- respond to and deal with customer communication by email and telephone
- produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis about the performance of the warehouse
- manage and coordinate the use of automated and computerized NGT in-house systems as external ones, to manage the workflow and accountability of the inbound and outbound freight
- create and oversee that Housekeeping schedule to be executed daily and check list completed
- oversee the planned maintenance of the warehouse, company vehicles, machinery and equipment
- implement a vehicle booking slots system for inbound/unloading and outbound/loadings to stagger the freight volumes and workflow during the day and avoid backlogs and congestion
- identifying needs and establishing client requirements as per projects managed by NGT
- brief team leaders daily and ensure all tasks are completed and the warehouse operation is managed and overseen
- promoting and adhering to good working practices and procedures with particular reference to the Company's service standards
- ensuring accurate storage and prompt retrieval of information
- ad-hoc tasks: follow instructions from company management for reasonable assignments
- handle e-commerce freight with effective planning and handling
- obtaining and processing information to enable appropriate decisions to be made
Requirements
- warehouse Management experience of ETSF - Mandatory
- ETSF procedures and compliance- Mandatory
- administrative skills and experience - Mandatory
