- ensure effective leadership, leading by example and always promoting a culture of transparency and continuous improvement
- ensure we meet the highest quality and standards including risk assessments, support plans and person-centred plans
- carry out regular checks and audits on all records and files in relations to the people we support
- ensure all quality, safeguarding, data protection, HR, Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to
- oversee the production of weekly rotas, minimise costs and reduce agency staff to a minimum
- build good relationships with commissioners, professionals, families, carers, staff, neighbours and the wider community
- seek opportunities to develop and improve services and challenge poor practice
- participate in an on-call rota system and provide hands on support when required
