Responsibility

  • perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
  • operate a variety of power tools such as hedge trimmers, lawn mowers, and blowers safely and effectively
  • use hand tools for planting, edging, and general garden upkeep
  • maintain irrigation systems, inspecting for faults and carrying out repairs as needed
  • operate machinery such as excavators for larger landscaping projects or site preparation
  • assist with construction activities related to landscape features like patios, pathways, or retaining walls
  • conduct routine maintenance of equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
  • collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscaping projects efficiently

Requirements

  • proven experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is highly desirable
  • mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems
  • proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in gardening and construction tasks
  • strong understanding of gardening practices, plant care, and horticultural principles
  • ability to perform physical labour outdoors in various weather conditions
  • good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship
