- able to carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards
- A valid MOT testing qualification
- good understanding of the MOT manual
- previous experience in mechanical and electrical fitting
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- have a strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements
Responsibility
- to Conduct MOT tests on vehicles in line with DVSA regulatory requirements
- identify and report any faults or defects found during the testing process
- maintain accurate records of tests conducted
- the test facilities and equipment are checked and well maintained
- ensure all work is completed to a high standard
- conduct necessary repairs or adjustments to rectify issues identified during testing
