Requirements

  • competence in conducting MOT tests that meet DVSA standards
  • possession of a valid MOT testing certification
  • strong familiarity with the MOT manual
  • prior experience in mechanical and electrical fitting
  • able to carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A valid MOT testing qualification
  • capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Responsibility

  • perform MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with DVSA regulations
  • detect and document any faults or defects discovered during testing
  • keep precise records of all tests performed
  • ensure testing equipment and facilities are regularly checked and maintained
  • deliver high-quality work consistently
  • to Conduct MOT tests on vehicles in line with DVSA regulatory requirements
  • carry out necessary repairs or adjustments to resolve issues identified during tests
  • identify and report any faults or defects found during the testing process

hgv technician

Requirements

  • previous experience as a HGV Technician
  • A full driving licence
  • relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications would be beneficial, but are not essential
  • DAF experience would be beneficial, but is not essential

  • clear communicator

hgv mechanic

Responsibility

  • inspect and diagnose mechanical faults in heavy goods vehicles to ensure optimal performance
  • carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake checks, and tire rotations
  • repair or replace defective parts and components as required
  • maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs and maintenance activities
  • work collaboratively with colleagues to improve workshop efficiency
  • follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

  • minimum of four years’ relevant experience in HGV maintenance and repair
  • ownership of personal tools is preferred but not mandatory
