Warehouse Operative Day Shift Snetterton
We are currently looking to recruit an ambient warehouse operative to work a full time, permanent contract within the ambient warehouse at Natures Menu. This is a fantastic opportunity for a personable and well-rounded candidate, that has had experience in working in small teams within a fast-paced warehouse environment, with picking and packing experience who can work to deadlines and targets.Key Responsibilities:Customer order picking.1. To pick, build and prepare for transport customers bulk palletised orders using electronic scanners or manual paperwork. To ensure all pallet builds are built to specific customer specifications and customer delivery dates.2. To pick to a daily target of 200 online D2C orders using scanners and pack into corresponding box sizes for next day delivery varying from weights of 1kg to 60kg.Loading and unloading of vehicles.1. To perform the unloading of inventory from delivery vehicles from external partners and suppliers.2. To perform the loading of customer orders onto 3PL vehicles, customer collection vehicles or Natures Menu fleet vehicles.To assist with maintaining an accurate inventory by:1. Assisting with counting and confirming of stock during routine stock takes.2. Communicating stock discrepancies to the warehouse management team.3. Scanning completed pallets from production onto the warehouse inventory using SAP inventory control software.4. This is a fantastic opportunity for a personable and well-rounded candidate, that has had experience working in a cold store or chiller before, with Picking and packing Experience.Have good communication and numeracy skills to read the pick notes for picking and packing the stock to be dispatched.You will also be flexible, with a can-do attitude and have a proven track record of good timekeeping.Key tasks as a Coldstore Operative:Pick products for the customer orders.Manually pack products into boxes on trolleys ensuring the products are fit for purpose.Loading the Natures Menu fleet of vehicles in a meticulous way.Report defects, accidents, or violations.Ensuring good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene, and health and safety standards throughout shifts.Ensuring Coldstore and surrounding area is clean.General warehouse duties such as box making, pallet wrapping etc.Flexibility to operate across all Warehouse departments.Key skills & experience:Basic Health and Safety and hygiene.Basic IT skills and bespoke systems in-house.Problem solving skills.A good level of numeracy and literacy skills.Previous experience with food products and materials.Working hours: 17:00 – 03:00, Sunday - Thursday
