our ever-expanding team is looking to recruit a Medical Laboratory Assistant/Healthcare Science Assistant to support Biomedical Scientists in our multi-disciplinary laboratory
this is a full-time role with the successful candidate working Monday - Friday, with alternate Saturdays
duties will include sample separation and preparation, as well as dealing with enquiries and assisting with basic analytical processes under the supervision of a BMS
you will also be required to assist in the handling and distribution of incoming and outgoing goods, assist with maintenance and replenishment of reagents on analysers, and load specimens onto automated instrumentation as required
there is also the option to train in phlebotomy to collect blood samples from patients, both on and off-site. Full training will be provided

all employees and visitors take a lateral flow test each morning prior to arriving on site
