Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • working closely with the Shift Supervisors to maintain production and quality
  • conducting frequent quality checks on equipment to ensure continued effective operation
  • completing emergency maintenance when equipment breaks down and calling contractors if required
  • ensuring the organisation complies with health & safety regulations while maintenance work is undertaken
  • completing blade changes and replacement as directed by Engineering Supervisor
  • complete paperwork for the maintenance plan for the site’s machinery and equipment and the record of preventive and emergency maintenance carried out and hand to Engineering Supervisor

Requirements

  • mechanical Engineering experience essential
  • ability to understand and execute a variety of engineering procedures
  • excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • able to work effectively as part of a team
  • ability to work under pressure
  • ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative
  • positive approach to all tasks given / undertaken
