- conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all occupants
- monitor CCTV cameras and respond to any suspicious activity or incidents
- conduct security checks of visitors and employees, ensuring that all necessary procedures are followed
- respond to alarms and emergency situations in a timely and professional manner
- provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as required
- maintain accurate records of all incidents and activities, and provide detailed reports as necessary
- work in collaboration with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
Requirements
- SIA Security License
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- ability to use technology and security equipment, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms
- good physical fitness and ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
