Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- ensure repairs are carried out to the manufacturer’s procedures in a safe and responsible manner
- ability to undertake fast and accurate fault diagnosis using diagnostic equipment
- vehicle maintenance and servicing
- complete safety checks and prepare vehicles for MOTs
- able to participate in breakdowns
- follow company processes for completing paperwork including accurate completion of job cards and service records
- MSB Haulage Ltd is a small family business whom is looking for a skilled mechanical fitter to maintain a fleet of vehicles , carrying out 6 weekly inspections and pre-mots
- keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy, and well-maintained
Requirements
- C&G, NVQ 2 / 3 or equivalent
- experience within the commercial vehicle industry
- good HGV technical knowledge
- HGV Driving License preferred but not essential
- A general level of computer literacy is advantageous
- can use your own initiative and time wisely
- able to effectively communicate both written and verbally and be an active team member
- HGV Technician: 3 years
