  • these range from small light weight to large mechanical assemblies
  • they will report directly to the Production Manager but take day to day instruction from the relevant Supervisor
  • the position will be to assist the production team with the mechanical assembly of components used in the manufacture of our range of paper handling machines at our premises in Milton Keynes
  • the successful applicant should have previous mechanical experience, not just limited to factory based manufacturing, car or bike maintenance will also be considered experience for this role

  • review and assist in verification and validation of product designs
  • develop and optimise designs based on solid engineering principles, laboratory tests and field trial results
  • provide new ideas, solutions and improvement feedback to the design team
  • provide technical feedback to improve part and assembly manufacturability and performance
  • investigate reported faulty products, fix issues and report for quality improvements
  • A proactive member of a multi-disciplinary team taking personal and joint responsibility for the success of the projects you are involved in
  • assist in supporting new product field trials and early adopters to ensure rapid feedback and resolutions of quality or performance issues
  • test innovative mechanical, electro-mechanical, Software, GUI and systems based on the design or product specifications. Providing written engineering reports to the team
