Responsibility

  • the preparation of client care documentation and other correspondence, at the direction of the fee earners and using own initiative
  • developing relationships with clients and familiarity with client’s matters and property department procedures
  • use of Microsoft and our bespoke case management software
  • the maintenance of diaries, including managing appointments and diarising key dates/deadlines on client’s matters
  • providing support to the property department and other departments, if required
  • answering telephone calls, with successful communication of telephone messages to the relevant persons including transferring calls between departments and offices
  • opening, scanning and forwarding post, as necessary
  • greeting clients for appointments

Requirements

  • computer and typing skills to a good standard
  • an ability to follow instructions from fee earners and other staff members
  • able to use initiative when completing tasks and managing their own assigned workload
  • confident and a good manner with clients
  • excellent attention to detail, with impeccable grammar/written communication skills
