manager
Responsibility
- lead and align the manufacturing site effectively
- control costs, resources, and spending for the site P&L
- promote and lead safety and quality in line with company policy and systems
- allocate manpower, skills, and resources for production and improvement goals
- supervise production and scheduling to meet OTIF targets
- handle efficient material sourcing and purchasing locally
- maintain accurate inventory and stock, including raw materials, components, and goods
- establish and support long-term relationships with suppliers and customers
Requirements
- education to degree level in Engineering or Production discipline
- right to work in the UK and the EU
- lean manufacturing training and qualifications
- hands-on experience in manufacturing/production/process engineering roles
- previous ownership of the P&L
- experience in Lean Manufacturing principles/5S and continuous improvement initiatives
- project management experience improving process efficiency
- experience within high-volume manufacturing
