Requirements
- candidates should be in the final year of a degree in Architecture or have a degree in architecture
- computer literate and competent in the use of MS Office or similar software
- competent in the use of CAD . i.e. the ability to produce complex, fully specified drawings
- basic Knowledge of legislative standards and regulations relating to design and procurement of minor capital works projects
- hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car
- right to Work in the UK
Responsibility
- direct Medics is a Registered Supplier to the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Trust Framework. We are currently recruiting on behalf of the Western Trust for a Band 3 Architect Student Placement based in Altnagelvin Hospital
- the post holder will be required to assist and support the MCW Projects team to deliver the WHSCT’s 21-22 annual capital plan
- the management of individual Minor Capital Projects including Brief, Design, Planning, Procurement and Execution of building alterations and minor building works schemes
