Responsibility

  • main day to day finance contact within the business
  • develop key relationships with senior finance counterparts
  • attend weekly client revenue/margin meetings with CMDs/BDs and co-ordinate and report weekly updates to the BOD
  • posting of payroll information received ; processing of final batch/total payroll payment on Barclays
  • review aged creditors report; preparing and/or reviewing payment summary Review business expenses for all employees; make expenses payments Review credit card expenditure, ensuring correct allocation in company accounts
  • oversee one direct report - AP specialist and AP process: Regular personal development reviews
  • preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns

Responsibility

  • evaluate existing process within the business, identify gaps and ensure consistent use across Medialab to provide efficiency and scalability
  • encourage a culture of continuous improvement and identify bottlenecks
  • working with the Client Managing Directors to ensure client operational efficiency within team and smooth running of recently embedded revised team structure
  • contract management process within client teams to ensure Scopes of Work and SLAs in practice are reflective of what we agreed to do; review of contract renewal process to ensure a proactive approach to client conversations

Requirements

  • significant relevant experience in operational leadership role with a track record of implementing and managing process and efficiency
  • experience with project management methodologies and tools to drive effective delivery
  • commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, identify cost-efficiencies and maximise resources
  • ability to manage senior relationships and report Board level
  • be proactive and drive change. The ability to see around corners and ensure Medialab are ahead of the curve to enable growth
