Responsibility
strategically plan and manage logistics, to include internal transportation for all Units introduce Kanban systems where appropriate and
warehouse management to ensure efficient use of space and ensure appropriate material handling equipment including Forklifts used throughout the Business
supervise, coach and train warehouse teams
keep track of quality, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
resolve any arising problems or complaints
meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
maintain driver Quality and No-show rate
utilise ERP system to maximise efficiencies in receiving product, and method of delivery to point of use incorporating Bar Code technology & stock control using PI Counting methodology
