Requirements
- whilst holding an AAT / IATI qualification or pursuing ACCA may be a bonus, an experience only background, if supported by a relevant career history developed within an accountancy practice background, with a technical skill set across a mix of accounts preparation, payroll, bookkeeping skills, is equally of interest as well
- ideally, you will have anything from 2 - 3 years, or significantly more experience within an accountancy practice, in your career so far, as an accounting technician, assistant accountant, senior bookkeeper etc
- individuals with a background working within the accountancy practice sector, for a firm of any size, preparing accounts / management accounts, VAT returns, Payroll, CIS, Cross Border Returns, Bookkeeping and other services, for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, will be of high interest
- bookkeeping / Accounting Technician: 2 years
- any experience of Sage / Quickbooks / Xero and other software will be advantageous whilst training and support will be on offer to help the right person get up to speed on unfamiliar systems
