- the purpose of the role is to manage the valuations team to ensure customers are valuated quickly and accurately and to ensure that all KPIs are met or exceeded

- the role is a pivotal member of the contract management team, responsible for managing the day to day operations by effectively allocating work to the planning, scheduling and administrative colleagues based on customer demand
- ensure that all servicing has been planned in correctly, with the best utilisation of engineers available, ensuring that response times and target are consistently met
- resolve customer invoice queries within agreed timescales
- through pro-activeness and an organised approach with a drive for results, you will work within the Operations Team to ensure our customers will consistently be given a high-quality service
- cross-train all staff within the contract team to become a multi-skilled workforce, where the resource can be flexible in the event of the need arising to cover absences or transfer to cover other customer contracts
- review all quoted work prior to billing to ensure it is billed profitably and that all variations have been captured and billed appropriately
- drive through process improvements
- periodically review SOR prices set up in the billing system to ensure that they are at contracted rates or at the most recently uplifted rate agreed with the customer
- support and develop the skills within the valuations team
- being the role-model and escalation point for the team as to operational questions or issues they may have around the contract they fall under, demonstrating what ‘good’ looks like through coaching and support

- demonstrable experience of successfully managing a team in a fast-paced SME environment
- A clear thinker, commercially focused, calm under pressure, and an excellent communicator
- passionate about continuous improvement, with a track record of delivering leaner and more effective systems and processes in a growing business
