- assemble and dismantle scaffolding structures according to safety guidelines and specifications
- inspect scaffolding components for defects or damage before use
- secure scaffolding to the building or structure using appropriate fasteners and anchors
- ensure scaffolding is level and stable on uneven surfaces
- install guardrails, toe boards, and other safety features on scaffolding
- assist in the movement of materials and equipment on scaffolding platforms
- follow all safety procedures and protocols while working at heights
- previous experience as a scaffold builder or in a similar role preferred
- knowledge of different types of scaffolding systems and their assembly processes
- ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and construction plans
- strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to working at heights
- physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
