- undertake comprehensive preventative maintenance and repair standards
- electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation
- service, inspection, maintenance and repair of diverse fleet of vehicles and trailers
- to ensure all HGV repairs and maintenance is completed as per company/manufacturer requirements and standards

- undertake such duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the VMU
- overhaul electrical equipment and components
- correct fault diagnosis to ensure replacement parts are fitted correctly and warranty claims are in line with warranty terms
- enforce personally and in others Company, Industry & Legal Health, Safety & Environmental standards at all times and without exception
- welding and metal working

Requirements
- at least 5 years’ experience in this industry or similar
- qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods maintenance or equivalent, or considered qualified by experience
- hold a City and Guilds level 3 in HGV Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
