Responsibility

  • we are still looking for the right person to fill the role of PA to the Operations Director
  • organising and maintaining Operations Director’s, and own diary
  • dealing with incoming emails and post, often corresponding on behalf of the Operations Director
  • filter general information, queries, phone calls and invitations to the Operations Director by redirecting or taking forward such contact as appropriate
  • meeting and greeting Operations Director’s visitors at all levels of seniority
  • conduct daily/ weekly diary meetings with the Operations Director to discuss upcoming engagements, invitations and other requests

Responsibility

  • to assist in setting up site including Heras fencing, appropriate barriers, segregate work areas, erecting suitable signage in appropriate locations
  • to carry out soft strip and internal demolition within buildings
  • to carry out hand demolition of load-bearing walls with an understanding of temporary propping requirements, concrete & suspended floors
  • to strip roof coverings
  • to dismantle timber & steel roof frames
  • to understand salvageable materials and process to prepare bricks, timber etc for re-use
  • to advise Supervisor of onsite disputes, programme, or any other issues relating to the works on site
  • to select suitable hand or powered tools for tasks

  • CSCS - Either CPCS or NPORS qualified
  • experience of working on construction sites and/or demolition/asbestos removal sites
  • good communication and organisational skills with the ability to work in an methodical and calm manner
  • accurate and pays attention to detail
  • this job will involve contaminated land remediation. Previous experience with asbestos and/or remediation is desirable. If training is not currently held, this will be provided
