Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- ensure that all products meet established quality standards within the company’s quality system
- review current processes, as well as identify any changes or improvements that may be made to streamline manufacturing processes
- lead discussions with senior management / stakeholders regarding quality assurance issues or concerns
- assure compliance with regulations regarding quality assurance
- collaborate with different departments on food quality and safety matters
- oversee the manufacturing process from start to finish, ensuring that all quality standards are met and that the product is manufactured in accordance with established standards and regulatory requirements
- implement and maintain HACCP and food safety procedures
- conduct internal audits, prepare and manage future external audits
Requirements
- minimum 3 years of experience within the food manufacturing industry
- HACCP Level 3 certification
- level 3 Food Safety certification
- internal auditing experience
- strong attention to detail
- excellent communication skills in both written and spoken
- knowledge of legal labelling legislation is desirable
- understanding of high care food manufacturing controls, working knowledge of BRC standards, SALSA and people management
