- assisting line managers with recruitment, including attending interviews and onboarding new employees
- dealing with employee grievances including conducting investigations where necessary
- advising on termination of employment including statutory and contractual entitlements
- advising on / implementing redundancy processes where necessary
- drafting/amending employment documentation including contracts of employment and company policies
- general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, up-dating employee spreadsheets and dealing with HR-related phone calls and queries
- advising on / assisting line managers with employee performance management and disciplinary issues, including advising on / helping to run formal performance and disciplinary processes
- monitoring holidays and levels of employee sickness absence, advising on / assisting with return to work / capability meetings and liaising with medical professionals where necessary
