• about the Role

• the Strategy and Business Operations team leads the definition, communication and execution of Matillion’s strategic plan, working with functional leads / Execs and their senior teams to ensure the correct goals are set, measured and delivered
• our security response team sits within the wider Information Security org and plays a pivotal role reacting to and triaging cybersecurity incidents across Matillion to protect critical systems by preventing, detecting cyber attacks
• the team is also responsible for delivering the primary meeting cadences used to run the business including Board meetings, monthly and quarterly business reviews, and key Exec meetings
• they provide a 24/7 security response and monitoring capability to Matillioners across the globe and collaborate closely with threat intelligence, threat detection & hunting teams to ensure Matillion provides a trusted SaaS platform to its customers
• our core day is Wednesday, and the second day will be determined together
• technologies You’ll Use... AWS, CloudFlare, AWS SecHub, Splunk, DatDog, SIEM, SumoLogic, Kuberentes, Kafka, Terraform
• reporting into the VP of Strategy and Business Operations, you will utilise your background in management consulting to build right-size structure and process into Matillion, balancing the need for maturing process against the resources required to work the process
• reporting into the Director, Information Security, you will utilise your expertise with advanced techniques for monitoring, analysing, detecting, and responding to cyber events specifically within a modern cloud native environment
• you'll provide technical leadership and mentoring for junior employees, whilst contributing to the development of security response programs, providing creative solutions to challenging problems
• you will be excellent at building compelling slide desks, harnessing data to deliver a clean and digestible narrative to senior stakeholders and up to the board
• your exposure to handling major, high impact incidents within a SaaS setting will be instrumental to developing a best in class, IT Security function at Matillion
• lead preparation of Monthly and Quarterly business reviews as well as board meetings and other key external meetings as needed
• assist the Senior Leadership Team with measuring performance against key objectives by creating and managing review processes
• you will be able to build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of seniority at pace, thriving under healthy professional tension and being assured in having direct conversations, holding people to account where needed

• our Enterprise Account Executives are here to help drive consumption growth through landing new logos and developing partnerships within a defined geographic territory
• reporting to the VP of Enterprise Sales you’ll be responsible for finding and closing net new customers, as well as growing Matillion footprint at existing customers
• responsible for outbound prospecting to affect pipeline generation in addition to validation of inbound leads, free trials, and conversion/upsell of paying as they go customers who sign on each month
