- here at The Maples, we have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join us on a full-time basis at our rehabilitative facilities based in Bristol and the outskirts of Thornbury
- we support adults aged 18-65 with a mental health illness transition out to the community; the service's core philosophy is the promotion of independence, health and social recovery through bespoke rehabilitation and care/support planning for these adults
- you will be able to work with a diverse client group, and a diverse staff team made up of clinical and non-clinical staff within a community setting to achieve positive outcomes for service users in your care
- you will be directly involved in the development of the service from its inception in partnership with the Registered Manager and Senior Management team
- you will work within a team and be self-motivated in order to achieve Maples goals in supporting the client to live independently
- you will be passionate about this work and willingness to learn new skills in all areas of mental health and learning disabilities
