Deputy Care Manager Coventry
Here at Compton Manor, we are recruiting a Deputy Care Manager for our home in Coventry, 38 bed residential home providing short-term and long-term residential services for Adults with and without Dementia.Our aim is to support our residents, build positive relationships with other elderly residents in the home. We focus on being able to re-engage with the elderly people in supporting them in all aspects of care in a dignified manner and promoting self-independence.Within this role the deputy manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operational running of the home. Achieving and sustaining a high level of care provision to our residents through effective management, coaching and guidance of our Support Workers.We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic manager who can lead, inspire & motivate a team of healthcare professionals to support our residents within this service.Our service is a home for our residents and we wish to keep the ethos of a “home from home” for all.The Deputy Care Manager will benefit from:Up to 30 hours a month working with an Area Manager who specialises in Elderly care homes who will be on hand to support you!Your birthday off every year (without using any annual leave)Pension scheme28 days holiday pro rataThe successful Deputy Manager will have a solid career history and proven track record in elderly residential social care. This will include:Minimum of 2 years management experienceQualifications: working towards RMA (Registered Managers Award), NVQ level 4 in management, NVQ level 4 in care, & Social Work diploma/degree/QCF level 5 in Leadership & Management.Ability to deal with conflict/crisis situations effectively and in a therapeutic manner (managing both staff and elderly people)Excellent and sound knowledge of residential
