- city & Guilds or SVQ2 qualification in construction related discipline, or an equivalent qualification D
- maintenance role or similar responsibility E
- health and safety qualification D
- organising and prioritising own workload E
- previous experience of maintaining up keep of large gardens and grounds. E
- maintain job records and returns E
- ability to carry out basic property repairs to a high standard E
Responsibility
- role: To work closely with the maintenance operative, ensuring that our gardens and grounds remain a pleasant and well-tended environment for our Service User, patients, staff and visitors
- ensure that all gardening equipment is maintained and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions
- work will vary and be affected by seasonal variations, e.g. planting, grass cutting, pruning, clearing leaves & litter etc
- ensure that work areas and storage facilities are kept safe, tidy, clean and locked at all times
