Responsibility

  • to participate in Staff, Team and Quality Management Review Meetings as directed by the Domiciliary Care Services Manager / Supervisor
  • to conform to all Policies and Procedures laid down by the Organisation in respect of carrying out these Care Duties and in other administrative aspects of the business, as relevant
  • carry out administrative tasks as and when required
  • attend mandatory training days/courses, on or off site as and when required
  • adhere to all company policies and procedures within defined timescales
  • participate in staff and service user meetings as and when required

Requirements

  • previous experience in a similar support role, preferably in a supported accommodation setting
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with young persons
  • experience working with young persons with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, mental health issues, or other challenges
  • excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
  • good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

  • to provide support and assistance to young persons living in supported accommodation, ensuring they have the necessary resources and guidance to achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life
  • address and report any concerns or incidents in accordance with organizational policies
  • monitor and review progress regularly, adjusting support plans as necessary to meet evolving needs
  • maintain accurate and up-to-date records of support provided, incidents, and progress towards goals
