- competent all-rounder capable of running a complete accounts department
- excellent knowledge and experience of bookkeeping software’s such as SAGE 50
- good knowledge of VAT and Payroll
- understanding of different currency transactions and Import VAT/duty
- willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and get involved
- ability to prioritise your workload
- accounting: 3 years
- valid driver’s license
- leading the analysis of monthly and quarterly financial numbers and providing guidance to the Managing Director
- bank, credit card and nominal reconciliations
- assisting and supporting in the admin duties in a relatively small office answering telephones and general correspondence
- responsible for day to day bookkeeping and payroll
- issuing monthly Statements to our customers in a timely manner
- providing excellent service in all dealings with customers, contractors, suppliers and staff
- recording financial transactions and completing data entry postings
- raising Invoices
