Requirements

  • A Degree or Master's in Speech and Language Sciences from a recognised institution
  • valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • full certification with the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists. Newly Qualified Practitioners must have completed all requisite stages
  • demonstrable experience in paediatric speech and language therapy, showcasing depth and breadth in client management
  • proven experience in diagnosing and formulating intervention plans for a diverse range of SLCNs, drawing from evidence-based practice
  • A passion for speech and language therapy and supporting children with communication needs
  • superior written and verbal communication skills, ensuring comprehensive and clear client and team interactions
  • experience working within multidisciplinary teams, demonstrating skill in consolidating input from various professionals to shape individual care plans
