M S BAR AND GRILL is looking for employees for positions:
- greeting customers as they enter the establishment and initiating conversation to make them feel welcome
- provide an outstanding guest experience
- taking and serving drink/food orders and ensuring timely service to customers
- handling payments
- assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- maintaining an organised bar area by regularly restocking supplies
- comply with all food and beverage regulations
- must be 18 years of age or older
- previous bartending experience preferred but not required, training to be provided
- previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is preferred
- ability to speak clearly and communicate with other employees & guests about company services or products
- strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- must be flexible to work weekends as well as evenings
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- cash handling experience is a plus

- assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities
- ensure all food production meets quality standards and adheres to food safety regulations
- oversee kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as necessary
- prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including special menu items
- maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels
- collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items
- handle any kitchen-related issues that may arise during service
- proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting
- strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and baking
- familiarity with food safety standards and practices
- excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for food and creativity in developing new dishes
- strong communication skills to work collaboratively with kitchen staff
