Requirements
prior experience working in a similar role in a care/nursing home would be ideal
relevant Health and Safety qualifications would be desirable

basic electrical and plumbing skills required
troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs
must be willing to work outside of working hours to suit the needs of the home and in emergency situations
handling basic repairs and maintenance
completing minor plumbing repairs such as fixing dripping taps or running toilet cisterns
