housekeeper

Requirements

  • must have the right to work in UK
  • good communication skills
  • 6 months housekeeping experience in a hotel environment
  • must be able to work to deadlines
  • previous cleaning experience

Responsibility

  • ensuring guest laundry is collected, charged, and returned to the guest in a speedy and accurate fashion
  • ensuring the daily cleaning of assigned rooms, bathrooms, corridor areas and public areas to the highest standards
  • ensuring guest property left behind is logged and stored in a secure location for lost property
  • this includes changing bed linen, replacing towels, cleaning bathrooms thoroughly, vacuuming, damp mopping and damp dusting daily
  • referring guest problems or complaints to the Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Supervisor
  • deep cleaning of rooms
  • ensuring the upkeep of vacant rooms
  • actioning any maintenance requests in order to comply with the hotel’s established quality standards and ensure guest satisfaction

bar staff

Requirements

  • excellent communication skills
  • previous bar/restaurant experience

Responsibility

  • receiving and registering guests on arrival, bearing in mind confidentiality and Data Protection at all times
  • control and processing of advance bookings and reservations
  • receiving and delivering any guest items
  • compilation of guest billing and payment
  • daily room allocations
  • confidential storage of all records
  • dealing with any/all guest queries as appropriate
  • provide maximum guest satisfaction at all times

Requirements

  • welcoming, friendly, helpful demeanour
  • 6 months hotel reception experience
  • fluent in a 2nd language
  • excellent organizational skills
  • ability to multi task and work under pressure
  • flexible working pattern
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • 6 months reception experience

cleaner

Responsibility

  • ensure cleanliness of all public areas and spa changing rooms
  • carry out lost property procedures
  • manage customer service issues quickly and effectively
  • undertake regular deep cleaning tasks, e.g monthly deep cleaning and carpet shampooing
  • report maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering Department
  • check public areas and toilets taking remedial action where necessary
  • comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
  • carry out any other reasonable task set by the hotel's management
