shift manager

transport planner

  • complete daily system arbitration including, but not limited to removing scheduled loads not run from the previous day
  • monitoring the data volumes app throughout the day for errors and correct if required
  • be the first point of contact for all drivers for job allocations, 365 issues and tablet issues
  • assist weighbridge clerks with investigating any system errors and testing
  • to manually enter each job onto the D365 system for the following day, then managed throughout the day. Amending work and transfer orders as required due to waste type, driver, vehicle or destination changes
  • cover for the Transport Supervisor in their absence
  • taking calls from the RRC’s with bin requests and allocate jobs to hook lift drivers. Planning these loads so they are allocated to the vehicle and driver in good time
  • monitoring winweigh for any issues and ensuring we are on track with required tonnages for each waste transfer site at various times throughout the day

Requirements

  • strong communication with a confident and articulate telephone manner and customer service skills

Requirements
