Responsibility
fabricate and assemble cabinets using various materials, ensuring precision and quality in every piece
assist design visit with the client and measure the designated area
be able to work as part of team ensuring to meet deadlines
utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing wood components
perform joinery techniques to create strong, durable connections between cabinet parts
collaborate with team members to interpret design plans and specifications accurately
maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
assist in heavy lifting of materials and completed cabinets as required
Requirements
proven experience in cabinet making or a related field, demonstrating strong fabrication and assembly skills
proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to woodworking
solid understanding of carpentry principles and joinery techniques
ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
experience with construction painting is an advantage
knowledge of plumbing or electrical systems is beneficial but not essential
strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
