LITTLE PIGGY CATERING is looking for employees for positions:
- we are opening applications for a kitchen porter and general handyperson
- they will have some experience of general handyman tasks and will be prepared to carry out some light building maintenance
- they will have high standards for cleanliness and organisation, some knowledge of commercial kitchen environment would be beneficial
- keep the support areas and staff facilities, offices and bathrooms clean
- we are looking for team members that can spot what needs to be done and then crack on with it
- carry out light maintenance of facilities including hanging shelves, painting, cleaning guttering, simple handyman tasks
- the ideal candidate will be someone with high standards, a big smile and a friendly personality, ready to help the team in the kitchen and on site
- ensuring Health & Safety standards are met at all times
- follow HACCP guidelines for food preparation with excellent attention to detail
- to prepare high quality food with precision to detail, following Little Piggy recipes and procedures
- following preparation lists to complete preparation of savoury dishes and pastries your responsibilities
- show efficient working practices to complete tasks in a timely manner
- be a key player in managing wastage and stock control
- ensuring fridge organisation is exceptional including food and event labelling
- work as part of a friendly team to complete all cooking tasks for events
- reporting to the executive chef with equipment requests or new methods and recipes
- follow HACCP guidelines for food preparation with excellent attention to detail
- to prepare high quality food with precision to detail, following Little Piggy recipes and procedures
- following preparation lists to complete preparation of desserts for events, weddings and baking cakes for the on-site cafe
- show efficient working practices to complete tasks in a timely manner
- be a key player in managing wastage and stock control
- ensuring fridge organisation is exceptional including food and event labelling
- work as part of a friendly team to complete dessert/baking cooking tasks for events
- reporting to the executive chef with equipment requests or new methods and recipes
