Responsibility
oversee all aspects of the wood-fired pizza kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
drive online sales through third-party delivery platforms
maintain and develop our innovative menu with a variety of pizza options, utilising fresh and seasonal ingredients
ensure that all pizzas are cooked to perfection, maintaining consistency and quality
train and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance on pizza preparation techniques and wood-fired oven operations
manage inventory and control costs by monitoring ingredient usage and minimising waste
collaborate with the management team to develop new recipes, seasonal specials, and promotions
maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to food safety standards
Requirements
previous experience as a Pizza Chef, preferably in a wood-fired oven setting
strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, and stretching techniques
ability to operate and maintain a wood-fired pizza oven, ensuring optimal heat distribution and temperature control
proficient in creating and customising pizza recipes, while demonstrating creativity and attention to detail
excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple orders in a fast-paced environment
strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and motivate a team
passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
relevant training and experience in food safety standards
