• to ensure that weekly, monthly audits and checks are completed including, Health and Safety audits, medication audits and Fire checks

• to support the young people in other environments outside of the home, as required
• to recognise the needs of the service provided by adopting a flexible attitude to work routines and shift patterns
• to know, understand, follow and promote the home's anti-discriminatory practice procedures
• to attend regular supervisions
• to understand and follow the complaints procedures, reporting complaints or occurrences to management, irrespective of their source
• to maintain daily records e.g., personal files, completing the daily logs and all other administration contemporaneously and accurately
• to assist in the running of the home, being part of a multidisciplinary team promoting a warm, caring, safe and enjoyable environment
• to attend all of the mandatory training and refresher courses, ensuring training is kept up to date
