working alongside the Chef/Assistant Chef and Dinner Supervisor team on a daily basis
checking dietary requirements every meal
an understanding of dietary needs, whether preference, medical or religious
keeping all meal time equipment and appliances in a clean and organised manner
supporting the children and staff in the serving of food
interacting with children at meal times, encouraging positive eating habits and table manners
adhering to our Health and Safety policy as well as all other policies and procedures
general cleaning duties including hoovering and mopping
Requirements
experience of working in a school or nursery with children that have dietary requirements
provide excellent standards in all aspects of food service and cleanliness; attention to detail is vital
good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
be an innovative person with a positive, out going disposition and a 'can-do' approach
