Requirements

  • experience within a supported living or social care sector desirable but not essential as full training will be given

Responsibility

  • assisting/supporting with personal/practical care tasks according to individual needs, which may include
  • assisting with personal care
  • nutrition
  • developing independent living skills
  • managing and budgeting finances
  • safe handling and administering of medication
  • support workers are responsible for ensuring that people receive the very best standards of care. Some of your key responsibilities may include

Contract type

  • previous experience is not necessary as all staff receive training tailored to the needs of the customer they support
  • having a driving license and access to your own vehicle would be beneficial but is not essential
  • we help all different types of people with learning disabilities and/or autism and other complex needs that may include a physical disability, who would like support either on a 24 hour basis within supported living Residential accommodation, or to access the community on a daily basis dependent on their needs and wishes - we feel that there is nothing better than seeing people happy as we give them the support they need to live happy and fulfilled lives
