Responsibility

  • work closely with the Finance team to review and improve processes ensuring awareness of external factors and best practice
  • responsible for identifying any aged payments and the resolution
  • support as Administrator/Approver across all payment platforms ensuring the maintenance of strict controls around access rights and ongoing review
  • oversight of PTF payments working closely with Compliance, Risk and Finance Controls Teams to ensure controls around these are robust
  • support all Treasury & Accounts Payable ad-hoc projects
  • manage the Treasury & Accounts Payable team in their day-to-day activities, ensuring that LSM settles all payments in a timely manner
  • responsible for Treasury & AP internal and external audit queries
  • responsible for signing off the quarterly Treasury & AP SOX/Control framework administered in Decision Focus

Requirements

  • experienced Treasury Accounts Payable professional
  • understanding of the insurance industry and relationships between insurance companies and coverholders
  • ability to lead and manage a team
  • proven track record for ensuring effective operation of controls within a Treasury & AP function
  • customer service orientated
  • capabilities in using Microsoft MS
  • experience delivering change in a matrix environment
